The role of a Survey Engineer is to work with our customer to layout new turnkey Central Office equipment add jobs. This will include developing the scope of work, engineering requirements, material requirements, resource requirements, and completing a site survey package for the Detail Engineer and our Quoting group for pricing the job.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Meeting with the customer, going over all job requirements, to ensure they have space, power, assignments, etc. to complete the job.
- Ordering material, researching to find the correct part and part numbers, and ordering equipment (Accuracy is a must).
- Must have Site Survey experience, installation experience, or engineering experience (experience in more than one of these jobs would be helpful), experience in a Verizon Central Office is a must.
- Must have excellent computer skills and be familiar with all MS programs, AutoCAD knowledge would be a plus.
- Must be able to work on their own and meet all of their assigned dates.
- Will be required to do research to ensure they have captured all of the requirements for the job they are working on.
- Must have a reliable vehicle and a good driving record.
