Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare firm price quote for Engineering, Installation, and Materials based on site surveys from field engineers.
  • Familiar with Vendorlink FPQ/Change order process
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment
  • Work in Northern, VA, Roanoke, MD and DC.
  • Establish and post project budget in database
  • Validation of project expense estimates
  • Coordination of internal resources
  • Assimilation of quote information into a single cost analysis/model
  • Document quote process and produce comprehensive quote response documents for submission to end customers with clearly stated assumptions regarding scope of work
  • Revisions and changes to documents as necessary
  • Attend conference calls and meetings to discuss and defend quotes
  • Development of quoting tools and reports
  • Expected to be in the office and available during regular business hours
  • Coded equipment and services orders to be entered into Oracle
  • Assist in the preparation and tracking of all “order of magnitude” (OOM’s) scopes based on CD’s, RF Data and other documents

Job Requirements

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field

  • Estimating experience related to construction, project, and wireless telecom

  • Customer Service – Responds promptly to customer needs; solicits customer feedback to improve partnership

  • Computer literate

  • Proficient in customer specifications and standards

  • Communication Skills – Excellent communication skills; speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; demonstrates group presentation skills

  • Planning/Organizing – Excellent time management; organizational; plans work activities; sets goals and objectives; develops realistic action plans; completes

  • Dependability – Follows instructions, responds to management direction; keeps commitments
