Job Description

The role of the Permit Coordinator is to will need to be able to drive a company vehicle (F150 or similar) and work with the Site Acq PM’s as well as License. The Permit Runner will have to drive to the jurisdiction providing payment (via CC or check) and picking up the required permits and then scan/email to all parties involved.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive communication and requests from Site Acq PM’s and/or License holders for picking up / paying for Electrical and Building permits from jurisdictions throughout California
  • Verify active permit is scheduled for final inspection and coordinate that with the respective jurisdiction
  • Scan/email the final inspection to respective parties and close the record in quick base
  • Make trip to site to post permits as needed and/or pick up final inspections in the event that they cannot be emailed
  • Must maintain timelines for permit submittals
  • Other job duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Skills and Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Prior permit submittal experience preferred
  • Must be able to drive up to 80% of the time
  • Must be 21 or older with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
  • Must have written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be detailed oriented
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks as needed
  • Ability to work well with others as well as individually
