Job Description

At MasTec Network Solutions, the Payroll Coordinator is responsible accurately maintaining of proper payroll documentation records and procedures for the weekly & biweekly payrolls.

  • Capture timecard entries for the weekly and biweekly employees
  • Interpret payroll implications to process the proper pay transaction
  • Perform Audit review of New Hires, Changes and Termination paperwork to coincide with the changes in Oracle
  • Gather HR & Payroll documentation to save to our electronic employee folder
  • Complete external Verification of Employment documents and government employee documentation
  • Handle Income Withholding Order and Garnishments
  • Promptly and effectively communicate with both internal and external customers
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Skills and Experience

  • Associate Degree and/or equivalent years of experience
  • 1 + years of experience in Payroll
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering payroll.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning payroll information
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate computer skills, i.e., MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Pro and Oracle
  • Ability to work well with others in fast‐paced, dynamic environment
