Determine floor plan layouts, power distribution, backup power supplies, and cabling of central office equipment
Design, identify, and requisition parts necessary to establish low and high level racking, transmission racking, power racking, aisle lighting, and provision for grounding
Create comprehensive and accurate installation specifications and accurate equipment requirements to fulfill customer orders
Create or correct location records, drawings, bill of materials (BOM), installation notes, and memos to reflect additions and modifications to customers' location (central office) as a result of installation or engineering activities
Review installation specifications
Skills and Experience
Minimum two year technical degree
1 year of technical experience
Customer Service – Responds promptly to customer needs; solicits customer feedback to improve partnership
Computer literate
Proficient in customer specifications and standards
Communication Skills – Excellent communication skills; speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; demonstrates group presentation skills
Planning/Organizing – Excellent time management; organizational; plans work activities; sets goals and objectives; develops realistic action plans; completes
