Job Responsibilities As a Construction Manager, you will manage daily operations of self-performing installation staff, subcontractors, and superintendents while they are engaged in the construction, installation, and in-service testing of all project-related Telecom communications systems. You will be responsible for overseeing the project staff and subcontractors through infrastructure design, procurement, build, and testing of all the affected communication networks associated with the project being managed.

Construction Manager Responsibilities:

Work with the SR, Construction Manager to develop and maintain the forecasted construction schedule for Perm power on assigned CRAN (small Cell) projects and report on all milestone actualizations/schedule changes.

%26Oslash; Provide coordination as needed with utility companies, OEMs, tenants and federal, state and local municipal requirement including construction permit/inspection requirements, notifications, access, punch lists and close-out.

%26Oslash; Monitor, schedule and plan GC and power utility crew assigned to jobs and attend weekly review meetings with PGE/ CTL and SCL as required.

%26Oslash; Review RFDS and other RF engineering documents to determine constructability and develop SOW/OOM/BOM for power requirement. Advise the Sr.Construction Manager/Customer of any problems with the constructability of the RFDS design.

%26Oslash; Review surveys and Permit submittal for accuracy from the Site Aqc team (ground, Power, Pole and shelter) as required for each CRAN project.

%26Oslash; Review project drawings and provide power design recommendations. Review and interpret power design drawings for accurate SOW/OOM/BOM.

%26Oslash;Provide input to A&E and SAQ PM with drawing redlines to build a CRAN site when required.

%26Oslash; Identify and schedule various sub-contractors/internal crews required for the CRAN project build as it relates to Perm power.

%26Oslash; Receive and review sub-contractor quotes, change-orders and invoices. Work with Project Controls in issuance of sub-contractor Purchase Orders and payment of sub-contractor invoices, if required.

%26Oslash; Ensure all pass-through costs are accounted for in the SOW/OOM/BOM during the scoping review process.

Construction Manager Requirements:

%26Oslash; Minimum of three to five years of related experience within the telecommunications or related construction industry

%26Oslash; Strong organizational communication (written, verbal and compute) skills

%26Oslash; Excellent organizational, time management, problem solving, written and verbal skills (including technological devices)

%26Oslash; Management, establishment, and communication of clear goals and objectives

%26Oslash; Hands-on experience with directing the activities of contractors and crews for mechanical, electrical, civil and structural construction in an industrial setting

%26Oslash; Ability to read engineering, construction drawings, maps %26ndash; preferably with knowledge of Small cell or New Site build installations

%26Oslash; Proficiency with Word, Excel, or comparable programs/system
