Job Description

The Sr. PM will support the NPMO Team and Markets in setting program expectations; promote and drive process and procedure standardization for the operations and operating systems; collaborate on and co-develop and document best practices. The Sr. PM functions primarily as an ambassador who fosters interdepartmental and interregional, as well as MasTec-to-Client, communication and collaboration. We are looking for a strategic thinker who can establish and manage plans while building and fostering collaborative relationships.


  • Management of all incoming projects to ensure project issuance from client is contractual before other teams engage the project.
  • Identify and communicate areas of opportunity within the market(s) such as procedural, personnel, programs, and/or system gaps.
  • Oversee and support initial and ongoing training and orientation activities in the markets including program guidelines, MOP, and Client contracts.
  • Oversee and Support MNS Job process standardization, collaborate with markets, Systems and Analytics, and IT groups to advocate for enhancements for internal systems and tools.
  • Provide direct Operational troubleshooting and Support when necessary in regard to the bundling and project initiation task


  • Work with NXO, Launchpad, and National Scoping to create workflows and queues in NXO to ensure projects are not being worked prior to being verified or contractual obligations
  • Directs, evaluates, and serves as the point of contact for escalating contract and procedural issues with Client within the market as related to Bundling issues.
  • Coordinates necessary MNS and Program trainings with the Regional TPC Leads to ensure they are delivered as needed throughout the markets.
  • Communicates regularly with market staff and leadership through daily emails and phone calls.
  • Assist the markets in understanding client contracts and processes and procedures related to those contracts.
  • Use knowledge of customer%26rsquo;s networks and business models to assist with determining future opportunities to deploy additional products and services.

Job Requirements

Skills and Experience

  • Extensive Turf experience, including proficiency with AT&T systems, processes, guidelines, and tools

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 10 years of experience preferably with 5 years of related telecommunications experience

  • Strong diplomatic and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent data gathering and analytical skills

  • Highly proficient in MS-Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Wireless new site build and modifications deployment and implementation experience

  • Design and construction experience, preferred

  • Some RF engineering experience, preferred

  • Equipment ordering and material management experience, preferred

  • Risk management, contingency planning, and decision-making abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex or sensitive issues to favorable resolution

  • Ability to travel as needed
