Job Description

The Project Accounting Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and coordinating financial activities of the assigned projects. As a Project Accounting Coordinator, you will be accountable for the tracking and reporting of reports and deliverables of the project.

  • Assists the Project Accountants with tracking analysis and reporting of projects
  • Work with other team members to provide full service accounting on projects
  • Assist in conducting financial training in the field
  • Assist in supporting project and financial audits
  • Assists with tracking advances and reviewing balances in revenue accounts
  • Provides data and information for financial reporting
  • Ensure accounting policies and practices are being adhered to
  • Review documentation submitted by the field for accuracy
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2 + years of working knowledge of accounting
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information
  • Oracle experience is preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning financial information
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, i.e., MS Word, Excel, Oracle, and web-based tools
  • Ability to work well with others in fast-paced, dynamic environment
