Job Description

The Organizational Development professional uses behavioral science and an understanding of company goals, systems, and strategies to maximize efficiency in the workplace. Develops targeted trainings for employees that align with the organization’s culture and strategic goals. Evaluates the needs of an organization, creates, implements and leads training programs to address specific development gaps.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

•Collaborate with management to identify company training needs.
•Oversee and direct seminars, workshops, individual training sessions, and lectures.
•Plan and implement an effective training curriculum.
•Leverage technology to effectively manage the training content, compliance requirements, and keep employees on track with all developmental requirements.
•Look for cost effective solutions to deliver training.
•Prepare hard copy training materials such as module summaries, videos, and presentations.
•Use critical thinking and balance the needs of the employees to decide what trainings will be most effective.
•Develop a schedule to assess training needs.
•Consult with other trainers, managers, and leadership to identify organizational needs.
•Track and compile data regarding usage and effectiveness of training programs.
•Communicate training needs and online resources to the organization.
•Complete other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Skills and Experience

•Bachelor’s Degree in business, HR, finance or related field.
•Experience creating and implementing trainings at various levels.
•Ability to coach and develop adult learners (in-person and virtual).
•Experience with creating high potential/impact programs.
•Ability to present to groups of employees, communicate interpersonally with individuals, report to management, and meet with vendors.
•Exceptional interpersonal, oral, listening, and written communication skills.
•Effectively engages individuals, groups, and audiences of all sizes.
•Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in a teaching position.
•Solid knowledge of the latest corporate training techniques.
•Telecommunications or construction experience preferred.
•Good understanding of various teaching methodologies and tools.
•50%-75% Travel.
