Position Summary

Junior Accountant will be responsible for accurately maintaining of proper accounts to ensure financial records and procedures are up to date. The person should have the experience to find and resolve any accounting issues, analyze and interpret data and provide financial reports to the leadership on findings. Junior Accountant will also work as coordinator for purchasing activities and ensure timely release and receiving of Purchase Orders.

  • Analyze, monitor all the transactions and prepare financial and other reports.
  • Ability to work with excel sheets, analyze and interpret data and deliver complex reports.
  • Perform period end General Ledger account reconciliation, including research and correction of any discrepancies.
  • Ability to find accounting issues and solve it.
  • Create reports and accounting procedures aimed at reducing the cost for the company.
  • Promptly and effectively communicate with both internal and external customers.
  • Coordinate and work with vendors and internal departments for vendor set up and Purchase Order creation.
  • Receipt against Purchase Order based on confirmation from the requesting department.
  • Liaison with the vendors and other departments to reconcile invoices and purchase orders.
  • Assist other team members in billing to customers and AR related activities.
  • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Perform such other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time %26ndash; quite often on short notice - by the company management.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Skills and Experience

  • 1+ years of experience working with related job duties a minimum.
  • Must have good organizational skills and detailed oriented.
  • Must have excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done, especially when important deadlines cause greater than normal departmental pressures.
  • Must be proficient with the Microsoft office suites.
  • Must have the ability to work independently and solve problems as they arise.
  • Bachelor%26rsquo;s Degree in Accounting or Business is required.
  • Oracle experience will be preferred.
