Job Description

At MasTec Network Solutions, an Administrative Assistant must have the ability to multi-task, while maintaining complex schedules and managing administrative support. A successful Administrative Assistant must be resourceful, a good problem solver and very organized.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure all daily tasks and deadlines are met and work is completed correctly
  • Organize and schedule appointments and calendar
  • Act as a liaison for internal and external clients
  • Plan meetings and take details minutes
  • Submit and reconcile expense reports
  • Book travel arrangements
  • Provide general office support
  • Generate memos, emails and reports when appropriate
  • Maintain office supplies by checking inventory and order items
  • Respond to questions and requests for information
  • Answer and direct incoming and outgoing phone calls
  • Develop and maintain an organized filing system


Job Requirements

Skills and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 + years of working experience

  • Ability to maintain confidential information

  • Working knowledge of office equipment such as printers, fax machines, etc

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Must be able to multi-task effectively

  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, i.e., MS Word, Excel, Oracle, and web-based tools

  • Ability to work well with others in fast-paced, dynamic environment
