Job Description

Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform client needs evaluation by working with Sales in Pre-Sales solution capacity.
  • Consult with clients and internal account managers to develop and design integrated solutions from channel partner manufacturers, or other sources. Act as a key point of reference with regards to the technical project design and specifications.
  • Assist sales force by providing design and pricing specifications, network drawings, and materials list.
  • Ensure technical feasibility and accuracy of each proposed solution within cost guidelines of the project.
  • Contribute to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Interact with product managers or vendors as necessary to support product improvements (ie compatibility), innovations, and emerging technologies.
  • May deliver, or assist with, customer presentations and/or technical demonstrations on core products/services, advanced applications, and emerging technologies.
  • Contributes to the effective closing of sales opportunities.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in technical/engineering positions in the RF/Wireless industry, with 5+ years in the inbuilding space
  • Firm understanding of wireless technologies & RF System Engineering
  • Experience designing & solutioning DAS, Smallcells, Public Safety, Private Networks
  • Familiarity with OEM products -Corning, Commscope, JMA, Solid, Ericsson, Nokia
  • Understanding of service provider requirements (Verizon, ATT, Sprint, TMO) a plus.
  • Ability to clearly articulate design concepts and solutions to customers
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time
